    Vincent started his aviation career as an Air Traffic Controller in the Belgian Air Force before joining Virgin Express and then TNT Airways as a flight dispatcher in 1999 before being promoted to head of the flight dispatch department in 2005. In 2008, motivated to join a major air cargo carrier, Cargolux Airlines, he only stepped back from his managerial position for a short period. His passion and continuous willingness for professional improvement allowed him to resume management roles in 2008. Firstly as a manager of the flight dispatch department and then senior manager of the flight operations support department, he served as an integral contributor to the establishment of Cargolux Airlines Flight Operations projects and was committed to designing procedures for the Flight Operations Support department and establishing innovative improvement policies. Since 2019, Vincent has left the air cargo industry to join the business aviation industry as a Nominated Person Ground Operations.

    Vincent holds a Flight Dispatcher license from the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA). In 2003, he was selected to participate in the partnership between TPG/TNT and the United Nations World Food Program as an Instructor Flight Dispatch, during which he taught the theoretical FAA Private Pilot License and FAA Aircraft Dispatcher License to a multicultural UN flight operations team.

    Joao Martins joined Jet Aviation as manager of the company’s FBO in Geneva in March 2014, where he remained until October 2016 when he was appointed general manager of the Jet Aviation Zurich FBO. A 20-year industry veteran, Joao served three years as head of Global Purchasing and Logistics for the VistaJet Group before joining Jet Aviation and more than a decade in various managerial positions for NetJets Europe prior to that.
    In his role as GM of Zurich, Joao is responsible for the annual WEF event. Since assuming the position, the Zurich FBO has launched dispenser fueling and dedicated de-icing services, and further secured IS-BAH Stage 2 Safety Registration. Joao is a strong advocate for sustainable aviation solutions and collaborated with partners to make Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) available for purchase in Switzerland for the first time during WEF 2020. That same year, he was appointed Vice President Regional FBO Operations Europe in addition to his role as GM Zurich.
    In 2021, under Joao’s regional leadership of FBO operations, Jet Aviation partnered with Neste to secure an ongoing supply of SAF for offer at its FBO in Amsterdam. The company also partnered with SkyNRG to broaden access to SAF for customers universally through a Book and Claim service. In 2022, Jet Aviation once again provided physical SAF in Switzerland, in Geneva for EBACE, and Joao was instrumental in bringing physical SAF to Singapore in partnership with Shell. The FBO in Zurich provided SAF via Book & Claim for WEF 2022, and again in 2023.
    Joao is a native of Portugal and holds a degree in accounting and business administration from Lusófona University in Lisbon.

    Peter Olexa is the Head of Vendor relations and Data management at Euro Jet, an Eastern European and Central Asian ground support company with its Operations Control Center based out of Prague, Czech Republic. This year Euro Jet is celebrating its 15 year anniversary. 

    Peter manages a team of aviation specialists located in six different countries that coordinate a network of airport ground handling vendors spanning four continents. His team is also responsible for overseeing all local aviation rules and regulations.

     

    Peter started in aviation as a 20 year old working on the ramp at Poprad-Tatry Airport in Slovakia. Prior to joining Euro Jet in 2017 as an Operations Dispatcher, Peter worked for several organizations, including EUROCONTROL and Czech Air Traffic Control. Four years ago, Peter moved into a management position with Euro Jet.

    Peter is a PhD candidate at the Czech Technical University in Prague where he specializes in the problematics of the airline diversion optimization, aviation weather and aircraft operations. He has a Masters in Air Traffic Management from the Technical University of Kosice.
